MCP Server

One URL. Every AI tool.

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client to your PlacidPlan workspace. Your AI app can read your board, add tasks, update due dates and check invoice drafts after you sign in and approve access.

Quickstart in three steps

  1. 1

    Add the server URL

Paste the URL above into your AI app as a custom MCP server or connector.

  2. 2

    Sign in and approve

The app opens a PlacidPlan page. Sign in and choose Allow access. Only you can approve access to your workspace.

  3. 3

    Ask in plain language

Try β€œWhat is due this week?” or β€œAdd a task to edit episode 14 by Friday.”

Open Settings β†’ Connectors β†’ Add custom connector. Paste the server URL, then sign in and approve access when asked.

Authentication and permissions

  • ✓OAuth 2.1 authorization code with PKCE (S256) and dynamic client registration. Discovery: /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource.
  • ✓workspace:read lets an app read tasks and invoice drafts. workspace:write lets it create, update and delete tasks.
  • ✓Access tokens expire after one hour; refresh tokens rotate on every use. Changing your password or email disconnects every app.
  • ✓See and disconnect apps any time on your account page.

Limits and errors

  • ✓Up to 300 requests per connection every 5 minutes. Above that the server answers HTTP 429; wait and retry.
  • ✓HTTP 401 with a WWW-Authenticate header means the token is missing or expired; refresh it or reconnect.
  • ✓Tool problems (for example an unknown task id) return a result with isError: true and a readable message.
  • ✓Protocol versions 2025-06-18, 2025-03-26 and 2024-11-05. Single JSON-RPC messages; batches are not supported.
